Capture Forecasts with Forecast Submissions

Track sales forecasts accurately:

Submit and review forecasts to keep them up-to-date with the latest estimates and quota comparisons.

Available in Lightning Experience for Professional, Developer, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions with Sales Cloud.

Forecast Submissions
How: Enable Forecast Submissions by navigating to the Forecast Settings page in Setup. Sales reps and managers can then use icons in the forecast summary to submit forecasts or review past submissions. Note that forecast submissions are restricted to forecast types excluding product family or other forecast groups.

Expand the Reach of Your Enhanced CMS Content
How:
To publish content from enhanced CMS workspaces to Aura site channels using non-enhanced APIs, ensure the “Use non-enhanced APIs” setting is enabled by default. This setting allows you to continue using non-enhanced CMS Managed Content Resources without disrupting your existing processes. New workspaces created as of Winter ‘25 will be enhanced by default.

Monitor Additional User Permissions
How: Access additional user permission metrics from the Security Center under the User category in Security Overview. Metrics include permissions like Retain Field History, View Real-time Event Monitoring Data, and more.

Integrate Knowledge and Unified Knowledge with Data Cloud
How:
In Data Cloud Setup, select Salesforce CRM and Standard Data Bundles. Choose Service Cloud and install or update the Service data kit. This integration prepares your Knowledge base for future enhancements with Data Cloud.

Boost Service Efficiency by Automating Milestone Actions with Flow
How: Open the milestone from an entitlement process, click Add Actions, and select New Flow to add the autolaunched flow. Customize and activate this action in Flow Builder.

Additional Enhancements

  1. Add the New Setup Domain
How: If your IT department manages internet access through firewalls or allowlists, add *.salesforce-setup.com to your company’s allowed domains. This change ensures Setup pages in Lightning Experience load content correctly.
  2. Create and Verify Your Default No-Reply Organization-Wide Email Address
How: Create and verify a Default No-reply address in Organization-Wide Email Address settings to comply with new email security standards. This update will be enforced in Winter ’25.

How: Users must manually verify their email addresses by selecting Resend Verification Email in My Email Settings and clicking the link in the verification email.
  4. Sender ID Deprecated for Email Security Compliance
How: No action required if you’re using Sender ID. Existing integrations will continue to work, but new Sender ID records cannot be created.
  5. Transfer Your Snowflake Data to CRM Analytics Using VPC on AWS
How: Use the Virtual Private Connection (VPC) for Snowflake on AWS connector to sync data from Snowflake to Data Manager securely.
  6. Download Data Sync Job Logs in Data Manager

  8. Manage Public Group Membership More Easily
How: From Setup, enter Public Groups, select a group, and click View Summary. Add or remove up to 100 members at a time from the summary page.
  9. Add a Description for Public Groups and Queues
How: When creating or editing a public group or queue, you can now include a description of its purpose or function.

Reference Multiple Picklist Values in Restriction and Scoping Rules

  • You can now use multiple picklist values in record criteria for restriction and scoping rules, simplifying how you configure visible records and fields. This enhancement applies to restriction rules in Lightning Experience for Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions, and to scoping rules in Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

Streamlined State and Country Picklist Setup

  • Setting up state and country picklists is now easier with fewer steps and improved usability. The “Enable Picklists for Address Fields” button is visible and inactive when not in use, making status checks straightforward. Automatic mapping of standard states and countries reduces setup time and minimizes errors. This improvement applies to Lightning Experience, Salesforce Classic, and all mobile app versions in all editions.

Restore Only the Latest Entity History Records

  • Restore up to the 20,000 most recent history records for a deleted entity with Field History Tracking. This limit enhances database performance and query speed. This feature is available in Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic for Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

Selective Sandbox Access for Developer Sandboxes

  • When creating or refreshing Developer or Developer Pro sandboxes, you must use a public group for access. This update improves sandbox creation times, login experiences, and security. This applies to all new or refreshed Developer and Developer Pro sandboxes, with a staggered rollout starting September 2024.

Find and Merge Duplicate Prospect Records

  • Utilize the duplicate prospect tool in Optimizer to clean your database and ensure marketing accuracy. This feature is available in Account Engagement Advanced and Premium editions and in Lightning Experience for Enterprise, Unlimited, and Performance editions.

Retirement of Campaign Member Status Chart

  • The chart displaying campaign member status breakdown is being retired in Winter ’25. Campaign member status will still be available in the Campaign Members list view. This applies to Salesforce Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.

Enhance Sales Forecast Accuracy with Manager Judgment

  • Sales leaders now see Manager Judgment values rolled up for all subordinate managers, not just the immediate one. Judgment values are also accessible in reports and dashboards, aiding in forecast reconciliation. This feature is available in Lightning Experience for Professional and Developer editions and in Enterprise and Unlimited editions with Sales Cloud.

Connect Unified Knowledge to More Systems

  • New connectors for Github, ServiceNow, and Madcap Flare enhance Unified Knowledge integration. This feature helps unify knowledge across agent and customer searches and supports Einstein for Service. Available in Lightning Experience for Unlimited Edition and other editions with the Knowledge add-on license.

Prioritize Cases by Tracking Milestone Time

  • Agents can now use the Time to Next Milestone column in case list views to prioritize cases based on milestone deadlines. This update helps in maintaining high service standards and is available in Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with Service Cloud.

Renamed and Retired Features

  • Renamed: Resync Events is now Pricing Operations Console.

Retired: Social Customer Service Starter Pack, Embedded Appointment Management, Embedded Flows, Close Date Predictions, Cadence Builder Classic (1.0), Externally Built Models in Einstein Discovery, Einstein Automated Contacts (Feb 2025), Salesforce Functions (Jan 31, 2025), Embedded Appointment Management (Jun 17, 2025), Legacy Chat (Feb 14, 2026), Salesforce for Outlook (Dec 2027).
