How Salesforce’s Data Governance for the AI Enterprise Can Help: Salesforce’s latest solution is designed to help companies proactively address both current and future regulations. Built on the Salesforce platform and integrated with Data Cloud, the suite offers advanced data management, enhanced security, and privacy features:
- Advanced Data Management: New tools like Salesforce Archive allow customers to store large volumes of inactive data at scale, while enhanced Salesforce Backup capabilities provide quick recovery in case of data corruption or loss. Additionally, Salesforce Out of Region Disaster Recovery offers extra protection during business disruptions.
- Enhanced Data Security: Database Encryption, a feature of Salesforce Shield, enables customers to encrypt fields directly at the database level. With Event Monitoring: Event Log Objects, user activity can be tracked with greater speed and flexibility, while Custom Metrics in Salesforce Security Center allows organizations to monitor KPIs that are most relevant to their security needs.
- Increased Data Privacy: IT teams can now de-identify sensitive data on a larger scale using Data Mask, ensuring individual privacy is safeguarded. For companies using Data Cloud, sensitive data can be encrypted with Platform Encryption, and preferences can be managed using Privacy Center: Preference Manager. Businesses can also store customer data on Hyperforce to maintain compliance with privacy regulations.
